Whats ahead for you ?

Well Guys.....Not long before this year is over and I have been thinking what I what to achieve in 2006.......so heres what is in my wee head !
Jeff you will be happy for this one !....new look for Addictivehobby- and I am starting to read the book you suggested "Designing with web Standards"- Jeffrey Zeldman..........but I am also looking into this word press.
More dedication into improving my artwork, I have missed this- and hopefully buying a house in the country.
I suppose this will do for now...................what are you guys in your achievement heads ?...

Oh!......maybe try and buy a new kilt.....

Some things I hope for next year (in no particular order)

At least do one illustration work for WotC
At least do a few for White Wolf
Improve my skills with landscapes and more dynmic work
Improve my color understatement
Leave Greece and life in Switzerland with Henning. In our own appartment with cool interior design and offices! (or Norway..)
Have my clients satisfied with my work (well that's always my goal anyway..)
Buy the latest console
Play Darkfall Online
Start to work out again and do sports

Scotty, I can recommend the idea with a house in the country. We love living away from the city, and even though it's 45min to get to work, it's definately worth it. Let me know if you need a hand with moving.

Moving away from Greece...sounds exciting. It's always a challenge to move to a different country.

I haven't thought too much about my goals in a strict sense, but I suppose it might be something like this:

Improve my darkroom skills both traditional and PS.
Improve understanding of light.
Explore more creative techniques like making boxcamera's and using my 70-years old Kodak medium format.
Have more exhibitions and actually sell some work.
Get my wife pregnant.
Finish the extensive redecoration of our house - providing the funds are present

Hmmmm....

- Continue doing as much art as possible, want to continue improving.
- Finish Darkfall (Have been working on that game for over 7 years now!)
- Hopefully make a decent income again.
- Leave this crazy, "out of order" country of Greece, and move to a part of europe where the girls doesn't have mustaches.
- Hopefully get included in more Ballistic books.
- Start making my own book with Tascha, just for fun.
- Get a nice home together with Tascha, with 1337 offices.
- Get a REAL computer, this HP laptop can be mistaken for a calulator in processor speed.
- Sign up for Mr. Universe, unless I figure out that beerbellies are not an advantage.

Haumovie - actually we already did leave our countries to get to Greece.
I am originally Swiss and Henning is Norwegian. He has been working in Athens for a few years now and I joined to live with him this April.

I really hope we can move back to our own countries together (either) and settle down. And I agree! living on the countryside is soooooooooooooooo beautiful. I could never live in a city for long.

- get a new system, running a p4 1.8 with 512mb ram, sucky slowness
- make enough to actually call it a wage (got 2 years before my missus has to look for another job, hoping i can give her a breather to do what she wants)
- bug the hell out of alderac, they offered me work on l5r, and haven't got back to me in weeks
- pick up more business from the death metal crowd (sounds weird i know, but i'm making good contacts, btw, i hate death metal haha)
- improve the hell out of my anatomy skills, my real weakpoint, stiffness
- pick up 'project lesa' again, i've let it slip for the last 9 month
- pay more attention to the wife, we barely see each other anymore (i take care of our son, then go upstairs when she gets in)
- make time for some personal work
- buy a warm jacket (school run is feckin freezing)
- put my suit on and start bothering curators (laing, baltic) about getting into their galleries
- stop smoking again, and maybe do a bit of excersise, i'm still svelte and sexy , but i can't run 50yards without collapsing in a heap

- Open my own design studio next year.
- Do more art as I have sooooooooo many random ideas running through my head but can`t find the time to put them to paper
- Find more time for a personal life as I don`t have one
- Find a woman that will put up with me
- Redesign my website
- Create a place to most my shite (Art Work)

- Meet that perfect woman, who is beautiful and wealthy seriously though I would happily settle for beautiful (inside too).
- Enjoy and celebrate the glorious minutae of life and our world
- Create art that I am happy with
- Get the new SDC site up and running
- Get vectortown running
- Improve my diet significantly as well as keep to a regular workout regimen. (teh dolphin has lost his buffness )
- not take friends for granted
