New website - Think its decent? - Graphic Design Forum

Hey Artisans,

I have been working on an ecommerce website for a basket weaver. I just finished my first draft of the design, and I am interested in your feedback. Any replies welcome.

This is awesome. At first sight, I liked it and it made me wanna 'look around' (literally). I think the first 5-10 seconds is the most important time when a viewer first enters a site -- so mainly, I like this because its effective.

Thanks I appreciate the response! I am actually about to launch the website this week, http://www.sheldonfarmbaskets.com . Hopefully it will be effective and lead to some traffic.

I know this post is really old but I want to go around and leave some comments on work.

I Think the design is really nice, you managed a convincing rustic layout. One of the most difficult parts of designing in this style is making it realistic but still usable. I think you accomplished this.
