unfortunately natural light was not much of an option...they were under the eave and i had to use the flash.

I got shivers from these...I really have an aversion to flying stinging beasts...did you destroy the nests after the photo?

Oh boy !!...one of my worst fears....when a wasp comes near me...you will not see me for dust........nice shots...but as SD said about the shivers......I got them aswell.........
What are you trying to do to us Members?

aww...didn't mean to give anyone the shivers..least not the bad kind :)
and unfortunately they got a reprieve..that is until i'm able to get to the store.
Photos are great... but what I hate most in the world are wasps and grasshoppers....brrrrr :handsup:
awesome..we have had the hottest summer in such a long time...i've been stung and abused by wasps/yellow jackets all summer.
we have a stinger zapper going right now with pepsi filled bowls but they are still relentless!
