ok..so i've been without my d70 for about 2 weeks now..i somehow managed to misplace my cf card...but i noticed this spider in my front yard a few days ago..(he comes out at night...and packs his web up in the morning to rest) and i realy wanted to take a picture of him.
now the only options i have are a dying sony cybershot...and a sony mavica 2.1 megapixel...i used the latter.
it was not easy..i forgot how bad the lag time was..and evertime the wind blew the spider moved out of focus...but here's the little guy anyway...i really wanted to post it because it made nemesis scream like a little girl :grin2:

You should make a photography book of all the different creepy crawly things you have taken shots of. :)

I totally agree....thats one hell of a spider and you are a brave wee girl to take such shots......wicked stuff darwin !!!
