Hope you guys don't mind me starting this... (great suggestion!)

A month ago we took in two abandoned newborn kittens and have been caring for them.

#1. Fred aka Frogster, The Toad, Toadboy.
Stats: A bit slow in the uptake and eats a lot, particularly when he is cosy. Will sit and pummel the floor by the bed in the night, purely to get scratched.
Looks like a toad when he sleeps, hence the nick.:

This is our cat Otis (named after the great Mr. Redding). We adopted him, as he was a summerhouse cat...left behind at someone's summerhouse after the holidays. Unfortunately not an uncommon occurrence here.

i love cats.
this is lucy. we adopted her. one reason i fell for her was because when i opened her cage she was alll loving, rubbing up against me, purring, just being a sweet kitty. well that didn't last long, now she's a bit stand offish.
she doesn't like to be held and she lets you know when she wants loving.
she's funny though, she used to jump on me at night and nudge me, and stupid me would give in and pet her...but she's gotten better, she's like an alarm clock now, she only jumps on me about ten minutes before my alarm goes off, she'll nudge me once, and if i ignore her she'll go away and come back five minutes later and nudge me again. she's a good kitty, she doesn't bite or scratch the kids and puts up with alot from them.

this is george, he was a stray that we took in about a month and a half ago.
i couldn't resist him, he was outside jumping around attacking grass being cute. and he was docile too, he would let the kids pick him up and never try to bite or scratch. he is still very loving, and unlike lucy, if he lies with you he won't budge. lucy will lie on you but if you move she jumps off. this cat just goes with the flow. only problem is that he is still basically a kitten and wants to play, rough, and when lucy doesn't want to put up with him, he attacks us, but just in a playful way, unfortunatley he doesn't know how to pull his punches yet. :)
