here is a drawing ive been workin on about 4 days or so on and off.. This is the first traditioinal thing ive submitted on this board so :D.. its the butcher from the movie "Gangs of New York" and well, here it is ;D

not bad indeed...one of the things about the cahracter the butcher was his eye(s), it would be intersting to see a bit more life in his eyeys maybe. :)

what would look nice is a close up sketch of his face and his nice fake eye ;)

Thanks for the comments and i do agree too that i need to and will go back and rework his eyes. And yea i had an idea to do a side-piece of the face closeup.. but yea.. just an idea for now. First i want to maybe work on my digital painting skills with this piece and do a painting of it, i really like this piece and i love the movie.

edit: i found a darker pencil and gave it some more contrast and messed with his eyes a bit but not much, at this point the eraser does a better job of smearing the eyes than erasing.. i think they are about as good as i can get them without making a new piece T_T...
