I have just returned to this site and registered to show my appreciation of an extremely useful tip. I draw cartoons and the Photoshop tutorial on using an alpha channel to create a clean line seperated from the background has proved really useful.
I am new to posting on these sites so be gentle with me if I am breaking from etiquette in some way, but may I suggest one addition to said tutorial?
If you follow the steps explained but record them in 'Actions' in future you can do the whole operation at the click of a button (in my case the F12 key)

Sorry if that is something that is really obvious but I thought it was worth sharing because it works for me

Yeah recording actions is a good thing for expediency, one of the reasons I dnt do it for everything is that often i have to make minor tweeks and adjustments that an action wouldnt be as handy to use, but if you are working on many pages of similar styled work then I suppose it would definitely speed the process up.
