Recently ive bought a book about digital painting and texturing by "Owen Demers".
In my opinion the book is a must buy for all guys who are starting as digital artists and that need info on how to start, well havent finnished reading it yet but the first chapter that got my intention was about looking in real life for textures and cast lightnings and shadows, lots of stuff in it is presented like light goin trough the glass and some major tehniqes of remembering a texture in wich you could later put it on ur work as knowing at that time of even the smell that was around you as you go deeper in it you start remembering the shapes and lines of an object you were looking at a month ago. The book goes deep, afterall its my first book about digital arts and I recomend it to everyone in a need of studies about stuff you havent even heard of and are not seen in major qualitty of your life.
