Back again folks.

My first picture (which was frankly a tool to learn the illustrator and photoshop programs) and this one will eventually come together in a 'movie poster' type picture intended for a Star Wars Galaxy Fan Site. I think I've learned a bit about the software and am getting better with the tools. This is the inked version of a character named Lei-eara.

Thoughts, sugguestions, opinions...

very nice drawing, i have a few things that are solely my opinion that you might want to try to see how it looks. The left eye (our left, her right) is a little bit thick with those black black lines, maybe make em a bit thinner. That line under the ear on our right i think might make her look slightly masculine, try getting rid of it, might look better. As well that exceedingly straight line under the lip might work better with a bit of a curve, less rigid maybe. I'm being picky but like i said, tweak it and see what you think. Nice work, you gonna colour it?

I stepped away from it for a bit today and all your points are clear as day and I think on the money. Funny how something you are happy with all of a sudden is muck when you look at it again. I also think I need to do something with the lips, but I can quite get it. Once I get a solid ink job done, you bet..it will be colored away.

Since reading the suggestion, I've corrected to some degree the things Moojangles pointed out. The web address in my signature has the most up to date draft.

i like it :) just slightly more curvacious and such, looks good. I might have an idea for the lips. I didn't comment on them before cause it sort of suits the odd alien race that this character is supposed to represent. But i took my finger and blocked out a bit of the right hand section of the lip and it might look better, if say the lips ended to the middle of the right eye. Doesn't hurt to try right? can't wait to see it coloured!

Took some time over the weekend to give rendering the piece a go. Here's the first render of both characters in the same picture. Thanks for all the help along the way, it was a great learning process.
