Seeing as this seems to be the forum to give our opinions on artists like Shan Finnerty, I'll take this opportunity to give my opinion, however I'll try to be more constructive in my discussion of him, as difficult as that will be.

Several months ago, I hired Shan to do some artwork and a video. We agreed on a price and a delivery time. Since the artwork and video were time-critical on their delivery, I made it very clear to Shan when I needed the finished products. However, despite all of my efforts in communicating my deadlines, he somehow managed to either ignore or completely disregard my messages. He is nearly impossible to communicate with directly. As the deadline loomed near, I practically pleaded with him in my messages to give me something to use as an album cover so that I wouldn't miss the critical deadline. (I was putting out a Christmas Album).

When he finally did pay attention to my desperate pleas, he eventually delivered a merely satisfactory album cover and video - TWO MONTHS LATE! 8 weeks past the deadline and a week before Christmas, I was forced to work with what he sent me and basically watched helplessly as my profit margin bled away.

I'm not writing this to destroy Shan's reputation; he's done enough of that on his own by his lack of attention to his customer's needs. Others who have utilized his "services" have been burned in a similar manner. He's either ignored them as he did me, or offered ridiculous excuses as to why he's late, some so outlandish they don't warrant repeating. Let's just say he's blamed equipment "malfunctions" on things that would be better remedied by a witch doctor or an exorcist than a certified electronic technician.

In my opinion, you could do a lot better designing your own graphics, taping your own video, and writing and recording your own music than entrusting such activities to Shan, even if you have no prior experience in these activities. I'll have to wait an entire year to recover the losses incurred by his lack of professionalism; don't let the same happen to you.
