had a college project to do some self portraits.
the first one is done in natural media, pencils, and water colours.

Nice stuff, actually I really like them. I have also recently delved into the water color and natual media realm again.
I like how immediate the first one feels and the strong contrast of the second works well. :)

for some reason i feel more instant gratification, from using natural media, rather than from doing digital stuff.

i edited your post to show just the links, which still did not work. i know that deviant art, in an effort to protect some of their bandwidth, has attempted to restrict people from hotllinking directly to their servers. they found that a lot of people where submitting their images to da, and then directly linking to them in their portfolio. so i am sure they have something in place to stop this. i would recommend posting the link not to the image, to the da page itself where this image is.
