playing with clay, have no idea why, had this block of plastiroc hanging around for over a year, so today, i thought, i'm gonna do something with that, had no idea what the hell i was doing from start to finish, and i'm unlikely to do this again, figured i'd post the results though because i quite like the face bit :)

That is pretty sweet Monk, reminds me of Warhammer 40K.

Why won't you be doing this again???

I really really like this. The texture on the skin is very well done and adds tremendously to the feel of the piece. I expect the eyes to open at any time. Great work:grin2:

thx fella's, too damn fiddly for me to do this more often, ran out of patience after i did the face, so some things look a little sausagey, stuck on, even managed to use a garlic press at one point hehe (remembered playdoh from childhood), i suppose it's ok for my first, but taking a look at the scuplting thread at conceptart, i realise how damn good those guys are, another thing i can knock of the big list of things to do befor i die :D

chris, how dare you censor my post !!! :P :D
thx guys, not sure if i'll do it again, too fiddly, and after painting this one, not really happy with it, will probably end up spraying it gunmetal, aged effect, might sand/file down some areas

I think that would certainly help this, it is a bit too shiny at the moment which doesn't make it look real. But great job, you are quite talented, indeed.
