Well I tried to work with painter tonight, and found myself trying to emulate photoshop...wrong idea I realize now. Anyways I plan to make a concerted effort to use painter more and try to sort out its wily ways....

C&C welcome but I problably wont go back into this particular one. :)

Cheers.

What I love about this forum is the creations that you talented members are showing us....I wish I could be on that band wagon........as for this one?, I like it, looks like a wee scene from the LOTR eh!- love the sky and the snowy mountain.

Out of all the paintings you have posted lately this would have to be my favourite one! I love everthing about this one

Thanks guys. :)

Monk: I can feel your pain. Painter is very frustrating especially because I am so comfortable in PS. However it has become almost personal....the challenge between me and painter. :)

I doubt I would ever switch from PS to Painter completely though.

at the moment i'm having no luck at all with painter, and the bad part is that's all I have. Well, except for photoshop elements that came with my wacom, and that just isn't cooperating. Painter classic is tough to work with, making your painting there even more impressive.

in other words...
nifty.

beautiful SD. The picture has some great depth with the mountain in the backround. My only thing is the foreground where the castle is, that seems like it may be a tad dark...just a TAD though.

fantastic work none the less. :grinning:
