Greetings!

Ok, I had designed a logo using RGB mode in Photoshop CS. I think that was my fault. 'Coz I never considered it would be used for printing. Now, the dilemma knocks on me. I need to use the logo for an ID layout. And I'm required to do it using CMYK settings to have a quality output from the printer. But when I take the logo and put it on my CMYK ID Design the colors of the logo became a bit dull. Is there anyway that I could treat this problem? Or I would have to redesign the logo under CMYK mode? (I just hope there's another way). Hope to hear from you guyz/galz asap. CIAO!

depending on the colours you used it will seem quite dull. The CMYK color gamut (the colours it can display) is smaller than RGB. Overal the colours will be duller than RGB.

If you rebuild if with other CMYK colours then you may or may not be able to get brighter colours. For example it is not possible to get a bright orange using CMYK.

I did used bright colors. So, does that conclude that I should do the logo again on CMYK? :(

Redoing the colours and using the same hue will get you the same result more than likely. Redoing the logo and changing the colours to different hues to make use of the CMYK colour gammut will result in a brighter logo but with different colours.
