i would have never known this if eraser hadnt let me know...

someone contacted him about an autorun file on a cd and in passing mentioned that they found eraser through my site, which they found in a book, photoshop secrets of the pros (http://www.sybex.com/sybexbooks.nsf/BookList/4191). i emailed the guy and he sent me a scanned page. turns out he was right.

i contacted the publisher and turns out my site is mentioned more than that. i got a reply the same day, which was nice:

Hi Jason,

Thank you for contacting us. The dubtastic.com site is mentioned a couple
of times in Match 6, as
part of the work of Evan Alexander. Here are the passages where the site
is mentioned. First, from
Volley 2 (pages 140-141):

---begin quote---
He next selected the main pattern element from Hijmans's serve and
converted it into a custom brush
(Edit > Define Brush). He used the new brush with the Paint Brush tool to
stamp the design into the
upper-right corner. He then used various grunge brushes (from
www.dubtastic.com) to paint and erase
parts of the resulting pattern, distressing the image to give the upper
corner an aged feel.

Alexander covered the 6 in the stock photo with a grungy 2 in the Dirty Ego
font from Misprinted Type.
"It needed something else," he says, "so I grabbed a industrial bar code
brush from dubtastic to fill it out."
--- end quote ---

Then again, in Volley 6 of the same match (pages 148-149):

---begin quote---
Finally, he dropped in his selected snatches of poetry, in the Downcome and
Dirty Ego type faces, resizing
and rotating each line separately to create a jumbled yet readable
composition. The Latin text that fills the
sand at the bottom of the frame is actually a custom brush from
www.dubtastic.com. "All of that text took
about 5 seconds," he says. "Brushes own!"
--- end quote ---

If you would like a copy of the book I would be happy to send you a
complimentary copy.
Please send me your Mailing address.

Same here. Not that any of my brushes are anything special but I hardly ever use them. But I should :)
