this is an extremely belated gift for my mother-in-law, which has now turned into a mother's day gift. the dog "blondie" is probably the most spoiled rotten pet to have ever walked the face of the earth. here is the reference photo (http://www.dubtastic.com/images/art/blondie_ref.jpg) as well as some wip shots (http://www.dubtastic.com/images/wip/blondie). i have drug this project out for far too long and i am tired of working on it. there are some areas that i am sure i could improve upon, but every time i open the image in photoshop i am struck immediately with creative block for some reason. its time to close this one and move on.

on a side note: i hate painting hair.
