There are a couple of good reviews on this camera, one of the best can be found at www.luminous-landscape.com. You can also try www.dpreview.com.
After reading a few reviews I would urge caution if you are considering this camera. There have been several issues brought to light regarding both the 4 colour sensor as well as the quality of lens sensor as far as Chormatic Aberation is concerned.
The biggest issues I see with this camera are:
- Colour changes drastically depending on exposure because of the 4 colour sensor.
- Lots of noise at the higher ISO settings
- Quite a bit of CA at wide and telephoto settings, conpared to almost none in the middle of the zoom range.
There are quite a few other cameras in competition with the Sony now including models from Nikon, Canon, Minolta and Olympus.
Over at www.steves-digicams.com I think there are sample images from 3 of the 5 cameras to compare.
Edit: I should have mentioned that there are 3 seperate reviews on the luminous-landscape website, a first review, a second look and a lens test.
