Started off as another cloud study and ended up as one of my big sky little castle treatments. Anyways I hope you enjoy. :)

Like all your other works, absolutely lovely. The big monstrous clouds give it sort of a forbidden feel.

Very nice indeed! I do find the darker linear cloud splits the length a small bit. But it is really an excellent piece of work. What medium and what size is it?

Sweeping and mysterious. Very cool. Kinda' reminiscent of Frank Frazetta (http://www.wadhome.org/frazetta/) in his prime.

wow that is quite the compliment. :) I have long been a fan of Frazetta. His figure drawings are amazing.

impressive... I see a fee spots that could use a little touching up.. Such as at the top more toward the middle.. the area looks a bit flat but this is good I like the little castle it really adds something to it. I've always been a fan of the pictures where you always don't catch every detail at first then after each time you view it you see something else. Nice job

And Frazetta rocks.

This was done digitally painted from scratch using a Wacom Intuos Tablet and Photoshop 7 the dimensions are small on this one. 1500x1700 pixels for the painted area.

Ed: Yeah there are a few spots that need work. It was more or less a quick study that turned into something a bit more. I wish I had started it at a larger pixel size. :(

Steel, I find it amazing that you hand-painted this in PS 7 from scratch. Good job man! I have done a couple of pure "paintings" in Photoshop, where I tried to emulate traditional oil and acrylic on canvas techniques. I was pretty pleased with them, and I had them on my site for a while, but I took them down because I felt that they looked a little too "boring". I don't know, maybe I'll post one of them on these forums and see what feedback I get :)
Keep up the inspirational work man!
