Music tastes -
Im a trance addict. I listen to that stuff the most, I dont think Ive turned on the radio in over a month since they dont play trance.
I also listen to classical movie scores when Im in the mood. Theres just something different about movie scores compared to classical music that isnt based off a movie. Trance and movie scores is what I use for artistic inspiration.
But for musical inspiration I listen to old rock, like 70's rock (pink floyd, neil young, basically hippy woodstock stuff) and late 80's hardrock (not the hair band stuff, the era after it). Thats what I use to learn new guitar stuff.
I am an avid listener at http://www.digitallyimported.com
I also listen to newage stuff like gaia radio or axioms (both are streaming mp3s like www.digitallyimported.com)
Downtempo stuff like http://www.somafm.com/
All good music to create art and design to. :)
Cheers.

I listen to a pretty huge variety of music.
I have a ton of anime mp3's which are useful when creating because I don't get distracted by the words.
I listen to mainly 80's and 90's rock I guess.

I listen to almost anything but tend toward loud and fast.
The last 4 songs to play in my winamp were:

-Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel
-Today is in My Way by MXPX
-Hold Me Back by ACDC
-Reject by Sepultura
Online radio I listen to:
-idobi.com - their slogan is "music that doesn't suck" but that would depend on the listener
-Extreme F'n radio
-Radiostorm.com-alternative
Next cd to purchase : KMFDM ATTAK

When i ( try, hehe ) program, then its Techno, if its art then it will be alternative music, or a bit heavier like Adema and Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn, and just depends on the mood. Rap is just music i like to chill to.

I listen to basically anything except country and new hip-hop. I absolutely love the newest Tool album. The KMFDM Attak album is not that bad either. I guess it all depends on my mood and what all I want to do.

I have to agree, and I grew up in Alberta which is the most 'Country' of all the provinces in Canada, perhaps that's why I am biased.

Hey I grew up in the cariboo/chilcotin like 2 hours from the nearest mall (or hospital) and I don't like country either. My first tape (uh-oh I just dated myself) was Iron Maiden Seventh Son
It must be those city born folks that listen to country. They just don't realize how much pigs stink. :)
