I am not the best on reviewing webdesign, but the collages looks great!
When I went to art school I was a real sucker for collages!
I think that collages was the early stage of photomanipulation... before photoshop I mean...

I really like your art work :)

Here are a few suggestions for your website:

1) Your buttons "Main Gallery, Portrait Gallery, Upcoming Shows" don't line up. Well the Portrait Gallery button is lower than the rest.

2) Your links in the side navigation don't seem to fit into the grey background. The text is to close to the edges. Maybe pad the background out more?

3) The picture to the top left in the header is too small. It gets lost in all the black background and the header text. May increase the picture size and have it fade into the black background?
