I saw this mentioned in this thread (http://www.steeldolphin.com/sdcforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=240). Can someone explain what exactly this is because the results look extremely interesting.

Basically Pinhole photography is just using a Box with a pinhole on one end and taking photos with it. Here's a site that explains how to do it:

If you go to www.google.com, and search for Pinhole Photography, there are many sites you can go to.

I wish I still have them but I used to do that with X-Ray film.
Man, those images were weird

My first project in my photography class was to use a pinhole camera. It was a very simple and fun exercise. All I did was make a box (can be any size), made a hole on one of the sides, then taped it shut. I then took some light sensitive paper (the kind you develop your own photos with) and taped that to the inside of the box opposite the pinhole (make sure your in a dark room when placing the light sensitive paper in the box). Then go wherever you want, place the box down where you want to shoot and remove the tape for however long you want the exposure. Tape the hole back up and go develop.

We did this in my high school photography class eons ago... I don't think Snoogie was born yet... anyhow, I still have some of the prints, although they aren't anything special as the school's parking lot was the subject matter.
If you have access to a dark room, it'd be a great thing to play around with.
