Out of 52 members there is not one single girl here. (To my knowledge anyways)

Girls aren't as numerous in the geek field as us. I only really know of a handfull of good female graphics designers. That's why Silicon Valley has the highest rate of single males on earth :)
We need she-geeks!

On behalf of all females....there is no such thing as she-geeks. She-intellects, she-creators, she-artists, she-designers....but no she-geeks. Females are beyond the simplicities of being geeky. It doesn't intrigue us enough to want to become one. Though we have been known to act on a certain geeky level in order to woo a manly geek. :P

I wouldn't call being geeky simple, I work very hard at it.
And I've never heard of a manly geek, must be something like a smart redneck.

You have to admit that men are simple and we are very diverse complicated creators. To be geeky would never be enough. We always have to take it to the next level. Manly geek aka male geek not smart redneck. I think that (smart redneck) is what we refer to as an oxymoron. Don't think they really exist just in Hollywood. Either way.....no fear there are woman in here.

Well now that is interesting at GF we only have 5 or 6 girls out of 1132 members. Kind of sad :(

*For lack of a better word. Including all the complexities and diversities that is women.
