Has anyone used colour infrared film like Kodak EIR?

If so do you have any tips for use?

It can be developed by E-6 processing but my local store said they would have to send it away because their machine uses infrared beam to detect the film. Is there a certain type of processor I should be looking for or does it have to go to a commercial lab like they say?

I wouldn't trust anyone but a commercial lab. According to Kodak's web site the correct process is AR-5. E6 processing will alter the colors.

Color infrared? I have never seen that before. Anybody know of any samples?
