Favourite Books -
Thought I would post some of my favorite books (for reading enjoyment - not learning)
Fantasy/Sic-fi:
David Gemmel: Any book by this author is a winner, however my personal favorites are the Drennai Series (Legend is the first book) and Knights of Dark Reknown, also the Sipstrassi Series with Jon Shannow.
Orson Scott Card: The Alvin Maker Series, and Enders Game Trilogy.
Steve Perry: Matadora Series (The Man who never missed).
William Gibson: Virtual Light, Neuromancer, Idoru, etc.
I think its obvious to say that Lord of The Rings is also included. :)

I doubt you'll find it. It's rare, I've seen copied go for $1500 online. It's only a 70 page book too! Anyways, I picked one up in decent condition on eBay for $20.
You can also find it online, some sites have the whole book typed out! :)

I may get shunned for this but I like Stephen King, most notably and I think his strongest work was the Gunslinger (Dark Tower) trilogy.

I like anything that's currently sitting on the back of the toilet.

Damn, I don't know how people can read while they're on the toilet! That's so nasty!

I can't understand how people can go to the toilet without something to read :D

I like a lot of 18th and 19th century navalwarfare novels...mostly Alexander Kent books and deffinatley C.S. Forrester's series.
I used to read some sci-fi which I think is great also.

Zibi, that's actually a very interesting pic, are those types of books hard to find? What section in a bookstore would those be found under (naval warfare books) history, fiction?

I usually get most of my books from used bookstores. Some stores will actually have a naval warfare section, but some large stores such as Chapters (canadian bookstore) list them all under action or whatever and you have to go and look by author.
I think I was actually pretty lucky there cause my dad read some of those books as a kid and therefore knew what to look for...its actually weird. They're there, but its hard to find them unless you know where to look.
