Hello!
I'd like to know the differences between the image>apply image command and the image>calculations command. I also like to know what does the image>trap command do.

Have you tried looking in the photoshop help file or doing a search on google?

These would be good places to start.

I searched over the internet and I look into several books that I hve. None really explains this difference so I thought someone on a forum can help me. Anybody?

Here's what I got from the help file:

Using the Calculations command

The Calculations command lets you blend two individual channels from one or more source images. You can then apply the results to a new image or to a new channel or selection in the active image. You cannot apply the Calculations command to composite channels.

Using the Apply Image command

The Apply Image command lets you blend one image's layer and channel (the source) with a layer and channel of the active image (the destination).
