Hi There,

I'm struggling to find the answer to how you reference sections of the document. I've set it up to auto paginate. I have a number of chapters with subsections and want to refer to a section which appears later in the document, by it's title and page number. So, if in Chapter 1 section 2 I refer to a section 3 chapter 6 as Please see "Understanding digital images, on page 36 for information", I want the page number in this reference to automatically update if pages are inserted. Can you help?

I know a lot of things about InDesign but I have never tried to cross reference. If I have time today I will try and figure it out.

What version are you using by the way?

hmm I've had InDesign 2.0 for a long time now, have never used it :/ bought it almost 2years ago.... what do you do with it? Script?,.
