Everybodies talking about 'Graphic Battles' and 'Help a Noobs'....well I have a simple idea.

Much like the Monthy Photo Contest, we could have a, just for fun, and not necissarily *monthly*. But a tournament.

Just how any tournament would progress, the artist narrows down the columns, and is trying to be SteelDolphin Champion...

now the choice would be, what kind of art tourney this will be. Whether you give a word, and they have to represent that word however they want(ie: poetry, digital media, photography), or if you just give a representation/theme, and it have to be photography, or have to be digital media, and so on..I dunno

just a suggestion :)

it is a good idea, marty and one that i think we would like to see get going.

my only word of caution is that the great and powerful collab (http://www.steeldolphin-forums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52) section is great for this type of thing, but the only action that subforum has seen has been 8 total threads.

my best advice is that if you have a great idea like this and want to see it get some movement behind it is to:
1. sit down and plan it out
2. organize it and get some interest as to who will actually participate
3. start up the thread in the collab section and take charge of it!

i think you should... one thing that i left out is that this is that as you are probably aware, chris is super busy with paying his bills. while he does try to get in here and check every thread out, there are numerous items on his wish list that he might never get around to.

with that said, that is why it is great that you have this drive to organize and conduct such a project, using the forums here as your vehicle of doing so. :grin2:
