I know, I was lucky. It was right behind our house as the rain passed over. One of those crazy weather days.

You can faintly spot the second ring in this one.
I would really have liked a wide angle lens to capture the rainbow entirety with our lake in the foreground, but one can only dream. :rolleyes:

Oh! the rainbow.......I nearly shot one on Sunday, was over at the Mother-In-Laws and was eating dinner inside.....saw the rainbow arrive, got the camera-went outside and the wee bugger, was covered by clouds......never came out again...
So nice one haumovie........one has to be fast to shot the Rainbow eh!

I actually took a picture of the rainbow touching the ground, I am buying a scanner tonight (Looking at the canon ldi20 or something) for 50 bucks for just scanning some of the pictures I used to take back in 96 and I am sure I still have that picture. It was awesome, big strong rainbox that hit the road and the colors are splashing all over the roadway, out in texas i think.

Nice! I rarely see double rainbows like here.
