Could anyone here recommend a News Posting Script? I would prefer if it was a php based one but am not to bothered.

I was in the middle of making one. What features exactly are you looking for apart from the basic posting/deleting and logging functions?

I tend to use Advanced Guestbook. (http://www.proxy2.de/scripts.php)
It's very easy to edit and make a news script out of it plus it has awesome control panel.

http://www.hotscripts.com is a fine place for finding free stuff :)
