Our very own Monk is the featured artist in the newest issue of Imagine FX magazine from Future Publishing! He has a big interview with pictures, and a major workshop tutorial.

Great read, Martin! Congratulations! :grin2:

Rob is an incredibly nice guy, don't you think Martin? We had a super cool time having him over here and go around Athens and talk to him about god and the world.
I think the pictures are too small, really. They look super cool in that environment and it couldn't be more fitting to go with your artwork imho.

I snapped some pictures here and there and this one is in my favourite :D
While hunting for interesting spots we came upon this granny and her grandson (or maybe even grand-grand..dunno). She had such an amazing characteristic face that both Rob and me took some pictures of her.
Here he is showing them the pictures he took:

Nice one, we didn't see a soul (well, there was one weird bloke who popped his head into the factory and ran away), was raining heavily and freezing here, but it was fun, yep, he was really nice, put you at ease straight away, i knew he'd be really pleased nipping over to Greece, talked to him about it and he said he had no chance as the guys in the office would lynch him if he got the gig as he was going to New York straight after too :D

well, there was one weird bloke who popped his head into the factory and ran away

lol

It was incredibly sunny here during that day. The first day around 20 degrees I think. But as soon as there was shadow or wind the temperature dropped down around 5 to 10 degrees. Flue weather..

He got to go to Greece because the other Gig would have been Japan hehe..besides he is the chief photographer. I guess he has the last word on who goes where. ;)

I was thinking: it would have been cute to have your son in the pictures, no?

would have been good, although the factory was a bit dangerous, asbestos risk and holes in the floor etc, scary place, he picked me up from my house and whipped me away pretty quickly, i should have dragged my two out with me if i'd thought on
