Ok, it's 5 am and I'm about to go the bed to get some much needed sleep. Thought I'd post this first tho. I've been up all night practicing drawing, and this is the result.
I used my anatomy book as reference again, and I'm not sure if I'm done with it.

And btw I had to take a photo of it, and the lighting is crappy in my apartment so I tried to make up for it, didn't turn out so well. Some strange things happened, the right eye is actually darker thanthe left one on the actual drawing?!? :sigh:

Very nice. Good render. Its amazing though how not having the nose completed the eyes seem so displaced (at least to me).

I think you have a done a good job achieving volume and the eyes are very life like which is one of the hardest things to achieve.

Was this graphite, or conte? You are obviously using some nice paper there too.

Cheers.

I used a 2B pencil, which I always use :)

The paper is A3 sized 130gsm. I perfer to work on 2-ply heavyweight bristol board at 260 gsm (grams pr. square meter) because of the shading tecnique I use, but unfortunately the art supplier didn't have this in A3 :(

Ha look at me, I've been drawing in less than a month, and already sounding like a god of the pencil  I didn't mean for this :)

:) Hey its okay to use the 'vernacular' it adds credibility.

We usually describe our papers is pound weight (80lb 100lb, etc) surprisngly enough considering we have been metric since the beginning of time. :)
