MAJOR creative block! i have a Holiday card to do (dvd packaging) for work and I can't think of one thing to do! can anyone help?

It sort of depends on what media you are using and who the client is. If you are doing an illustration/drawing, you could do something really dark, sad and UNquaint. Like Santa being drunk and stabbed in a back alley or something.
You could of course go for the warm fuzzy feeling and do a girl staring at a xmas tree in awe. But that's boring. :)
You could also go with the humour side: two of Santa's helpers, wrapping presents in a sweatshop on xmas eve and one saying to the other: "So, what are you doing tomorrow?" and the other replies: "I'm sure there was something......hmm...must've forgotten."

I have a xmas theme design coming up here too, I hate them - quite frankly...but I know where you are coming from.

It really depends on local and the client or the client's audience like Haumovie said so its hard to give any useful help until i know more
