In July me and my homeboys is having an exebition in Copenhagen.

The gallery wanted like a sneak peak of the exebition and hired us to do some artwork to place in the reception.

The theme is Hans Christian Andersen (Because it's his 200 years anniversary this year)

The concept was to make 2 teams, one team to make the dark side of his fairytales and one team to do the bright side. Cone was of course on the dark side :D

I don't know what the tales are in english, so you're gonna have to guess wich tale it is.

Unlike the guys from the bright side. We tried to make all of it like a collaboration, didn't quite work, but the idea is there. Everybody on the team participated in each wall, on the other team they went 2and2 on each wall.

there were 6 guys on each team, but only 3 showed up on my team, so we did this 3 guys in 2 weekends. :violin:

well enough talk, here it is

dude those are all bad ass, this is what i want to do for a living except on cars instead of walls ^_^ ive only painted a few things like some bicycle ramps and shat like that. And im suppose to paint the wall of my friends pool building because its like against the concrete of his pool and his mom wants someone to paint a beach on it (:S not exactly my cup of tea with the beaches n w/e but hey its practice atleast :D). you duno how i would jump on an opportunity like this. It looks like alota fun. O yea they are all cool but i gota say, the dark sides better because...
1. dark is always cooler ^^
2. the illustration is pulled off better :D
I wish i knew of a site that had lots of pictures of wall murals n stuff like this..

For most people yeah legal graffiti plays a bigger part after a while. But every now and then you just gotta do some night time if you know what i mean,

i don't know what it is, you just gotta...

The "Dark Side" pieces are brilliant Coneman. Send news of this exhibition to Juxtapoz Art Magazine (http://www.juxtapoz.com) dude. They may do a news item on you. :)

WOOHOOO!!!
I love the colors and the details on the old witch...... awesome!

Are such competitions held to deter folks from "beautifying" the public walls?

Cone Graff

It's not a competion, we're getting paid for doing this.

The people who participated in doing this has ALL been doing graffiti for 10 years+
There's nothing in the world that can deter anyone of us from writting on walls :D
