I think it might look a bit better if the skulls were somewhat different but that's probably not what you were going for.

I really like your idea about having the tongues twisting up together. I think that would turn out great, as well as adding some colors, witch I for some reason assume you're going to do later on.

The skull is very strong. Your illustration just keeps getting better man. Really nice lines. I think if you are going to have the tongues twist together in this one they should problably retain the symmetry you have going here I would think.

This is so strong in Black and White, I think you might be able to just stick with that, that is if you were planning on using color. :)

if i do any coloring, it'll be subtle, but i was probably going to keep it 1-color in case i wanted to do a shirt design with it.

i suck with symmetry, but agree on the twisting. we'll see what happens. it'll be tricky to get right.

i should also draw the back of the skulls if i'm going to use it for anything other than a square format (like a t-shirt design).
