Well guys, finally me and the wife have found our wee house- its a wee bit smaller than the rest of the houses we have looked at...
The house lies at the bottom of a cute little Swedish village, with around 8 other houses- we are the last on the right......we have a small lake around the corner and so much open space....
They have took down the photos from the internet- but I will take some photos when we move into our new home on the 4th Aug- 1 day before my Buffday !
We had to pay more for the house, as we were up against another couple who wanted the house aswell....but we out bid the buggers and now the Scottish flag will be flying !
So my new design for Addictivehobby will be on hold for quite a wee while, infact I may gave up web designing all together, as I have other passions that I plan to work on, plus lots of renovation work at our new home.
Anyway, thought I would let you guys know whats happening with this Highlander...and bring on this bloody summer- I want to barbeque and have some beers out on my new garden !!!!

Been to the bank, the building Inspector has been to the house- and no major problems, that a builder like myself can fix.............so we move into our new home in 8 weeks time- the packing has started and still can not believe that we have finally bought a wee hoose !

Cool. Nice that everything pans out now that you have made the decision. Hope you manage to get the major things done fairly quickly. We have lived in a building site for 2 years but are finally done now and two years is too long.

:furious3: You all sound like this is good news! I have been waiting for Scotty's new design for a long time now! I am addicted to Addicted Hobby!

Owning a house is over-rated. Mortages payments,taxes, maintenance cost, and maintenance time all suck. Welcome to poverty. Now instead of having time to design some wicked sites for all of us to admire, you will have to cut the lawn instead! What do you enjoy more? You may say "cut grass" but trust me, that will quickly wear off and become just another chore to cut into your pleasure time.
