I have Adobe Photoshop version.5.5, the other day my History window vanished on me! Now, there are very few windows in Photoshop as important as the History one. This has happened before, but once the windows wanderlust has been satisfied it normally appears again. However now I've tried everything and it refuses to come back! It's just vanished, no matter how many times I click on show/hide History Window, I still get not joy. Urge to kill....rising.

I would really appreciate any help you have.

have you tried deleting the preferences file?

On a pc its in your documents and settings under adobe--->photoshop....I believe.

Thanks, I'll give it a go, another bloke told me to do that as well, was hoping there was another method, I managed to get the thing to reappear once before, but looks like its playing hard to get now.
