Here i s an older water color i have done...its been posted before but I thought I would get things started in the new Traditional art forum with it....sorry for the repeat. :)

Very nice...love how it's just a suggestion of a building more or less. It even appears as if it's growing up out of the rock. Watercolors always have that "feel" to them!

Anyhow I think this looks pretty good but i feel your missing shape/detail at the bottom. Looks like a pile that turns into a church rather than an "abstract" building shape that turns into a church. If you had cut off the lighter sides and continued the dark center mass straight down I think you would have ended up slightly better.

I would never have guessed this work would be yours Chris......truely different in all areas....It looks like the church has a smiling wee face at the top..

Yeah this was my first attempt at watercolors really, it was done rather fast as you can see but I was more or less pleased enough to continue with the medium for another couple tries....and then gave up :)

Oh, nice one. I think i've seen this one before yeah, but it doesn't matter. Still nice. Guess me beeing a sucker for blue makes me like it more hehe
