Again... I've used my sources and can't find out how to make brush sets... I have plenty of brushes but I have to keep on customizing them... HELP!!! Thanks... :alc:
well i figured it would be a nice way to start out my membership at this forum by helping someone out.
the question is, do you want to make a brushset from scratch by adding brushes or just "make a set".
you make brushes in photoshop by having a selection active and using Edt->Define Brush Preset. Black in the selection will turn out as a solid color, white is 100% transparent and a mid grey (50% white/50%black) will turn out as 50% transparent.
now over to the making a set thingie.
first you need to get rid of all the brushes you dont want to have in your pack.
say youve created 3 new brushes that you would like to have in a pack.
delete all brushes except those 3. Go to the brushes Submenu (The one where you choose what brush to use) Click on the little button with the arrow and choose "Save Brushes".
Done.
Please get back to me if you need further help.

One thing about saving the brush set, you don't have to delete the ones you don't need. When you are ready to save your pack just go Edit > Preset Manager and select the ones you want (hold Shift for more then one). Save :)
