I was trying really hard to find the right place for this so I hope I'm in the right forum
I was just watching the movie The Cell yesterday and I'm still under the impression- I was wondering what did you guys think from artists point of view. Those of you who have seen it
The graphics in the movie is in my opinion what makes it work so beautifully
It's like being inside of a dream- colorful- in fragments; doesn't make sense, gorgeous and intense
For those of you who have seen the movie.. isn't that a beautiful art work?

It has been some years since i saw it. The movie was crap :mickey: hehe back ontopic. Yes the artistic aspect of the movie was pretty nice. I remember a specific shot of the bad guy sitting on a throne with his cape stretching all over the ceiling and walls.. Loved that particular shot. The rest is a bit too vague altho the desert bits in the beginning where nice aswell. But Jaylo has a fat ass..

The art and art direction inthat movie was fantastic, I would definitely agree with you on that point. I also remember that throne shot vividly which in my mind is a big time kudo for the art in that movie for me to remember that..its been many years since i have seen that movie.

That's exactly the part that made me think of all of this
It was just so original. I haven't seen the movie when it came out and I didn't think I'd say that I liked a Jennifer Lopez movie but here I am :)
I just think that maybe with a different actress it would have worked better because both the art direction and maybe not the idea but the presentation of the killer and how he thinks of himself was interesting
I'm so glad you guys liked this.. because when I dream this is what my dreams look like and it felt like someone took a pencil and drew them out
