As I've said before, it's difficult to photo-capture traditional paintings. This is an abstract piece that I did in about 6 hours total over 3 or 4 days. :)

I really like the high chroma clash of the cyan/blue and red they have the straight from the tube vibrancy and combine for a very energetic mixture. :)

Nice work Jeff.

Thanks Steeldolphin. Yeah, I think I'm sort of developing a "straight out of the tube" tendency with my acrylics. Transparent washes are cool, and I've tried the "faux-watercolor" techniques, but it seems that I can usually only get the vibrant effect that I want with pure, opaque globs of color. It's an expensive style of painting to have, believe me. :)

spididdy: Yeah, I've watched my share of "Cheech and Chong" movies. :dub: ;) Thanks for the nice props man. :)

Nice pic, Jeff. I like the lines and overlapping sections with the unusual choice of strong colours. :grin2:

Thanks Scotty and Christian. Yeah Scotty, there is an underpainting of white that comes through in places to give it a sort of (unintentional) "icy" look. :)
