My advice to you would be to sit down and just randomly write down things as they come to you. As soon as you find something you like build off that. You would be surprised how much this helps. Of course that's not the hard part. It's not so much finding a cool name it's finding a cool name with a URL that is still available.

I would suggest something that will stand out. Do not go for Pixel Design Studios or something, get something that people will remember.

Steel Dolphin :) But what does it mean? LOL anyways, yeah go for the unusual and avoid cliche. However if you are really interested in serious design business it might be sensible to make it somewhat related to the industry. :)

Playing with words is always going to help, try and think of words that have more than one meaning and as Steeldolphin says, avoid cliche or names that are too broad. Avoid a name with print, web or something in the title, maybe you will make broadcast design one day and the name won't reflect that. :)
