You did a great job! I am still learning methods of coloring as well so I am always interested in seeing other's work.
The skin tones feel a tad bit flat. I would add in some reflections, etc. Sometimes the color of our clothes is mildly reflected onto our skin (maybe it is just me with my "programmers tan").
Overall you did a good job. :)

Looks pretty good, but if I had to come up with some suggestions (and I will) it would be that the whole render is a bit flat, but that may just be the quality of the jpeg (boy I just realized I have been blaming that alot lately). I think you need to add some 'cool' tones to the shadows this will help bring out some more dimension and visual play.
Anyways good work as usual.

i did add some purple to the shadows, but the skin was generally dark in the first place and thats why i think it turned out flat. Also when i highlighted the shirt i noticed it lost most of its dimension for some reason and it was 1:00 am in the morning on a school day so i was a bit lazy :P
as for the reflecting light i tried with the green but it was looking a little gross so i just did a purple backlight.
Mainly all i can say is it was late and i was too lazy to fix the things you guys mentioned on the spot
