I am just reposting it because apparently a lot more people commented on the logo and gave me other suggestions for it. Here is the link again. If you can remember what you wrote I would appreciate you saying so again so I can remember and make changes as I go.

I'm not sure where you read up to but suggestions were to make the type more dominant and infinity symbol less dominant.
I was "playing" around with the design a little and think the best option would be to put the text on two lines & make larger, squish the symbol vertically so it's more elongated and use a bolder (version of?) font.
If you were to make the text large and keep it on one line then you would have a very thin long logo. If you look at most major corporate logos they are more square, oval or round than long and thin. E.g. Telus, IBM even Acro Media.
You could always have two versions of the logo one long and thin, another squarer (some corps do this).
Just like to say again that I like the overall design & concept

freakyclean do you have an email address because I have heard that you are a printing expert. I want to send you the start of the business cards so that you can let me know if what I am doing is possible so that I don't continue going off on a tangent for nothing.
Thanks.

Expert? The last time someone called me that it was followed by howling laughter. :)
You can send it to this one: info@artisticmediadesign.com

freaky I believe the term was 'professional' but I guess you are an expert too :) Anyways like I mentioned earlier Cory, the tect might cause you some grief when printed small, and that you might be better off placing the text beneath the logo.
It's nice, but IMO too plain. It looks like so many other logos.
As Steeldolphin says, consider the size. A good rule is to make it the size of a fingernail and put it though a fax or copy machine. I understand many new logos only "live" online, so the print world is not important, but still. :)

all points mentioned have been well thought out and stated.
but i also think you can personalize it just a little more.
you're on the right track and its got some great qualities but i think that you can push it a little harder by pushing the way you're handling the type.
at this point, i'd suggest making a few versions based off of this and just completely experiment, maky te symbol really tiny, toy with kerniing, fonts, small caps and whatnot.
i assure you that you'll be happy with at least one of the variations.

The logo is still under construction actually. I like the comments that you have made and in fact have inspired the futher development of the logo. Not going to tell you what is going to be the final final logo but I think you guys will agree that it's much better then this.
