Took this in the late afternoon/early evening. Stopped the apeture down to f32 and a Shutterspeed of 20 seconds.

Nikon F80 w Sigma AF D 28-200mm f3.5 Lens
Film: Fuji Velvia (ISO 50)

It sorta turned out interesting, but I could have cropped the shot better, but it was really more of an experiment than anything.

Your thoughts are welcome. :)

That's pretty nice man. You should experiment with the long exposures a lot more, you've got a nice collection of shots with this technique. I agree about the cropping though :P

For some reason I am wanting to see a larger version of this. Not that the image is bad, but something larger would be even more powerful, especially with the wonderful effects you captured. The border on the image is great as well!

Where was this taken?

Yeah, thats a really nice technique. Gives the water a smooth kind of finish. I have a couple of pictures like that, but nowhere near that finish of color saturation.

Dub: It was taken in Kelowna at the Bird Sanctuary, and again the border comes to us courtesy of the scan. ;)

I will go back again and try to set up a better situation seeing as I have the data from the shot, and i know what to expect given the various specifications.

Cheers. :)
