Well although this couldnt be termed a speed paint, it was done fairly quickly by my standards. The idea began with having a soldier in front of the tank in silloheutte and it just wasnt working....so it took a drastic turn to what you see here. not much detail or finish but I thought I would show it anyway. Its been some time since my last digital paint.

There was a reference for the tank but I didnt really stick too closely to it as far as accuracy and detail is concerned, angles and perspective are screwed.

Anyways for what its worth I hope you enjoy. :)

I love the colours you used! I actually think the lack of detail makes the image. How much detail can you really make out in the Desert anyway? :cheeky:

Good job! :grin2:

yep, the looseness adds a lot of mood, reminds me of lim kai's stuff a little, a rawness that really suits this subject matter, a light puffy tendril across the front/right of the tank would look good

wow, I love this one, great colours, they give you the sense that there was a battle.

cool, nice energy to it. I would like to see some colors on the other end of the color wheel though

I am going to have to go against the norm here and say I think I would have rather seem a bit more added to your pic. Maybe not so much in the detail because I think you did a great job choosing the colors to create a desert feel. The thing I would have like to have seen would be a more linear feel to the tank. I dunno :p To me it just looks like the tank is melting in the heat, just seems off to me.

Cheers!
