Did this little color for our good affiliates over at Pixeljunction (http://www.pixeljunction.com)Just thought Iwould get yer comments on it before I ship it off. :)

The orignal line art (unfortunately it wasnt inked) was don by Jhn Ngyuen.

I removed a 'sun' from the line art and made the image a sunset for more dramatic effect. I didnt realize what I was getting myself into by doing that because now I had to deal with reflected light from the water, and light source was very difficult in this one. I dont really intend to spend too much more time fixing it, but any comments are of course welcome.

the only crit i really have is that you should have put more time in on the hair. Otherwise pretty nice for a quickie.

kudos to both of you guys (penciler and colorist) I like the mood and colors here.

Digital coloring fascinates me.

I like the style and the way you colored her but I personally think the water looks very out of place. Its not really matching the sky and theres to much detail. It gives the impresion that shes as big as a mountain (since shes in someplace like the ocean and oceans are to big to have ripples, only waves). It also isnt helping much that the penciller put the horizon much to low. I think getting rid of all small details in the water, and then just highlighting the edges that are touching her with some white would really improve it. It should also be brightened up with sky colors and have a slight haze on the horizon (going over the lines).

I like this one. It's simple but I know that's more to your style there SD. She seems a little to built for me but of course that's not a comment you can do anything about.
