a suggestion has been put forth to add V3-Arcade in one of the forums - possibly in the lounge. These are interactive but simple arcade style flash games that members can have fun with.

Now its an extensive modification so I want to get an opinion from the visting members so far, so please vote.

Here is a sample of some of the games that can be made available.

Now keep in mind this is just for fun, and non members will not be able to see or play the games, so hopefully we wont be attracting a bunch of jokers just looking to play them :)

Well, I had to vote "no" personally. I don't think it's worthwhile to do all that work just to bring in people to play games. The forums I visit the most are the ones with the least gimicks and the most mature, talented professionals. I think it's difficult enough for people to remember what an art & design forum is intended for without the distraction of games.

heres screenshots of another layout (the fist things on the last screen are challenge links which lets you challenge a member) http://environment01.net/arcade.jpg

The games are not so high quality that they will detract away from anything, not by a long shot. Think about it, how long can you play hit the penguin before you want to shoot yourself in the face? The reason I like these forum arcade things is the competition aspect since it records your score, its just something to try and accomplish when you are bored.
