erm really struggling with knowing what to do to advertise a website for a magazine, not sure what to put down for text either.
but i came up with the idea of surfers.
hopefully you understand the connection?
if not let me know :)

I am just worried about them having nothing to do with the topic of the magazine i have created.
and i am wondering if this maybe an issue?

Hmm I will have to think about this one a bit.

Unless you are well know I would suggest putting some more info into the ad as to what you/it is.

One thing that immediately sprang to mind was having the water filled with translucent 1s and 0s like jellyfish. I'm famous for my cheesy ideas though.

Maybe you should add a tagline, like:

Surf on over to (website URL)

although that is a bit corny! :)

Really stupid question, but did you actually take the picture in the first one?

The reason I ask, is because you have photography listed as what you do and you might get calls for that kind of work.

The last one reminds me of a desolate place. The information highway has lots of traffic on it.

I prefer the horizontal layouts best.

I think the surfing adds will work pretty well........I also agree that maybe adding a slogan will kick this a wee bit further.......
