I've had my Canon EOS 300D for a year now and until now everything's worked as it should. Lately I've been seeing this little 'error' on the LCD Panel. It always showed the battery full when I charged it but now, no matter how many hours I charge the battery it only shows half full (not even that, the last bit only) on the LCD Panel, anyone have/had the same problem, how can you fix this?

ok so I took some pictures and after not even 15minutes it died, I can't keep re-charging it after 15minutes of using the camera, this sucks.

thanks in advance,
It's probably the battery. Because it's a lithium-ion it will slowly lose power over time until there's reletively no power left in it. My suggestion would be to try another battery and see if you have the same problem.

I'm affraid that Hael is right on this one.
If you shoot a lot or just charge your battery often it's life will deteriorate some.
It shouldn't die after one year though.
If you end up buying a new one I suggest AGAINST Canon batteries.
They will run you over $60 where you can get generic ones for $11.
I bought 2 generic ones recently. Work hella better than my original Canon.
Plus they last a lot longer too.

thanks you guys, I tested re-charching it in another place and after 90minutes (chargetime) it worked, fully too, thank god lol, I'm going on vacation so really needed for it to work.
ah thanks for the tip, I found though 2 Canon BP-511 ones for $15 only, talk about a bargin, it's like e-bay but a Swedish version (tradera.se), this guys sells them in pairs and very cheap too, all new of course. So Imma buy those two (while they're so cheap)
thanks again :)

Oh wow, I have had the same problem with my battery. I bought my Rebel October of 2004 and haven't had any problems with it until this last month. The battery would register as full in the charger (constant red light) but then when placed in the camera I would get the 'Empty Battery' signal.
So Adiago, what did you do specifically to fix your problem? Did you just plug your charger into a different socket? I have always kept my charger in the same electric socket (through a power bar actually, one of those things that converts one socket into 8) and hope that all I have to do is move it to remedy the problem.
Thanks.
