Anyone ever printed their images from 10D?
Just wondering how they turned out since I have never done it.
Things like cropping, sharpness etc...

I guess noone has :)
OK, how about this:
images from 10D are 3078x2048 (or close to that number) at 180dpi.
What would be the biggest possible image/print without losing any quality?

I'll post more when I get home form work.... if I remember
First of all drop the @180 dpi. The image size is 3078x2048 pixels.
If you want to use a dpi reference you have to say something like 4x6 inches at 180dpi (which would work out to a total of 720x1080 pixels).
Your question:
Depends on output device....how you're going to print it.
You could easily print it at 24x36 inches on an inkjet if it will be used as a poster.
What size do you want??
When you decide, you should do the following:
Resize the image so that it is 250-300dpi at print size, then convert to LAB mode and run an unsharp mask filter on the image with settings around 1.5 pixels and 150%. See what is best for your image.
FYI When shooting with any digital camera you should always shoot images in RAW format (not saying you didn't). You will get better images and better prints.

Hey thanks for the answer :)
I was thinking making not that big prints - 11x14 maybe a bit bigger but not much though.
Ya, I need all help I can get with printing since I have no clue what to do :(
Until now all I did with my images was put them on my site but recently I've been submitting my work to galleries and I want to have nice results.
Thanks again.
